IntoMeSea offers seven types of services: floating in a floatation chamber, soaking in a crystal tub, basking in Lucia light therapy, listening to a Pyradigm physio acoustic machine, breathing in a salt booth, sweating in an infrared sauna and taking breathwork meditation, Qigong and other classes.

Already offered at Paris' iconic Molitor Hotel Spa, the Dream Machine uses patented photostimulation technology – an approach typically used in neuroscience laboratories. It's a lamp which emits various flickering patterns of light to stimulate the optic nerve and then the brain in a sensory spectacle.

A brief audiovisual stimulation (AVS) exposure of approximately five minutes may be sufficient or even optimal for improving mood to a comparable or greater degree than meditation sessions of equal or longer durations (11 or 22 minutes).

Although a "sober psychedelic" experience may sound hokey, it produces the same illuminating, motivating effects found in DMT blast-offs, while satisfying the psychedelic-curious in the process.

The Dream Machine is an immersive experience that plunges you out of time and space, like nowhere else in the region. We tried out this incredible half-hour session, comfortably installed on a mountain of cushions, in a cocoon plunged into semi-darkness, lit only by a white lamp. With headphones on, you close your eyes and enjoy a psychedelic (but no side effects) journey into the depths of your mind.

Stroboscopic light therapy has been a recent go-to for me because of how quickly it drops me into a meditative state. It helps to pretty immediately calm my mind and has been such a helpful way to quickly recharge during a busy work day. There’s growing research (with Imperial College London and Freie Universität Berlin) around many of the benefits this type of light therapy can bring to us including improvements in focus, memory, and sleep.

Prolonged exposure to strobe lights has a psychedelic effect, which researchers are investigating as a way to heal the brain. Last summer, in various cities in the UK, more than 40,000 people visited the Dreamachine, a large space designed to induce hallucinatory experiences with white stroboscopic light and electronic music.

I closed my eyes, and the trip began. As meditative chanting and didgeridoo music played in my ears, the insides of my eyelids transformed into a big-screen kaleidoscope. Geometric patterns formed and dissipated with a dynamic spectrum of colors shifting from purple or orange to green. The shapes appeared to move with the music, arising and morphing in a rainbow of shades.
